Lost Creek Productions Motion Graphics Demo

This demo represents my work going back to the days of Wavefront and 3D .obj files that I would create by scripting in Unix C-shell on a Silicon Graphics mini-mainframe. Later work was produced with PC based Lightwave 3D. Much of it was standard definition so scaling up to 1080 was a challenge.

I modeled and animated 99% of the work you see here and I also edited the demo.

I have seen the CGI business move from high end workstations to low cost platforms that offer entry into the field by almost anyone. This has resulted in the democratization of effects work which, by and large, has been good for the industry.

But one thing remains the same. While having the right tools in your organization is important, you sitll must hire the right talent.

Here are a few motion graphics tests in 1080 format of some 3D models I built (Enterprise & Jupiter 2) and other compositing tests to try out new features in HitFilm Pro

Best enjoyed full screen.
